History of Dubai Properties
The real estate fund developed by Dubai Properties consists of 35,000+ residential and commercial units. All of them are located in the best areas in terms of infrastructure development and quality of life: Downtown, Dubailand Oasis, Jumeirah Beach Residence.
The company entered the market in 2002 under the name Estithmaar Realty. The debut project of Estithmaar Realty was the residential district of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). The smart approach to developing the Arabian Gulf coastline contributed to the tremendous leap in the emirate's tourism industry.
Three years after its establishment, the developer changed its name to Dubai Properties, a name it has been known by to this day, and became part of Dubai Holding. The holding company is involved in comprehensive development of Dubai's economy, and real estate is not its only focus. Its assets, valued at over $35 billion, also include the Jumeirah hotel chain with representations in 20 countries, Tecom, Retail, Emirates International Telecommunications, the management company Masat, and more.
