You can easily check the sunset time online, and we recommend doing this in advance to reach the perfect viewing spot, buy tickets to an observation deck, or reserve a table at a rooftop bar. Top places in Dubai to watch the sunset:

• Observation decks. For example, At The Top on the 148th floor of the world’s tallest building — Burj Khalifa, or The Viewing Point on the “floating” bridge over the waters of Dubai Creek Harbour.

• Jumeirah Beach Walk (JBR Walk) is an excellent place for a seaside family stroll. Located near JBR Beach, the boulevard takes on a special ambiance at sunset, created by street artists, light shows, and cozy lounge areas. For those who like to mix rest with activity, there’s a cycling path — and for lazy thrill-seekers, electric scooters for rent.
• Al Seef  is a district preserving the spirit of old Dubai. Boats called abra cruise the Creek, while soft evening lights glow along the waterfront, revealing a side of Dubai as an old port town between the desert and the sea, where pearl divers once lived. The area has been lovingly recreated as an ideal place for evening strolls — sample Arabic cuisine, listen to traditional music, or shop for souvenirs. Watch the Dubai Fountain Show

One of the best reasons to visit the legendary Downtown area in the heart of Dubai is the grand Dubai Fountain music and light show at the foot of Burj Khalifa. In the evening, crowds gather at the artificial lake — it’s the perfect time to witness the majesty of one of the world’s largest and tallest fountains. The fountain “performs” masterpieces of Arabic and Western music, and its water jets, illuminated by thousands of lights, shoot up to 150 meters.

Show schedule:

The fountain show takes place daily, both during the day and evening. The evening program starts at 6:00 PM and continues with 30-minute intervals until 10:00 PM from Sunday to Wednesday, and until 11:00 PM from Thursday to Saturday.

It’s a massive theme park of illuminated sculptures, interactive attractions, and light shows. Over 10 million LED lights are used for the displays, and everything is made from recycled materials — making it one of the city’s largest eco-conscious urban projects.

You’ll find glowing landscapes and art objects, dinosaur exhibits, recycled art by local artists, ice sculptures, lifelike figures of African animals, marine creatures — and a photo illusion zone to fill your phone with quirky shots.

On weekdays, the park is open until 11:00 PM, but on weekends and holidays, it often stays open until midnight or later. Check the schedule before visiting.

Topgolf Dubai

Located in Dubai Hills Estate, Topgolf Dubai consistently ranks among the top evening and nighttime attractions in the city. Open daily until 2:00 AM, it offers a unique golfing experience for friends and families alike.
